Covid Awareness
In the last few months,
the world has been turned upside down by a highly contagious virus called
Covid-19. Ten years from now Covid is
going to be in history books and we will be able to say that we survived
it. In the effort to lessen the amount
of people that get sick, we were ordered to stay at home and to not go out
unless necessary. The reason for this
was so that hospitals won’t get flooded and we can begin to flatten the
curve. This quarantine order was world
wide so nobody was alone in this.
To be prepared
people need to buy things that will assist them during these times. Some of these items are bandages, food that
will last and hand sanitizer. People
also need to buy toilet paper as the world has gone crazy for toilet
paper. This seems like a strange thing
for people to worry about. When in the
store, you will have to wait until eight as the seniors get to shop first. Safely stock up on essential items but do not
over react and hoard unnecessarily.
You can prevent
getting sick by self isolating yourself, staying 6 feet away from other people
and by not interacting with people who don’t live in your home. You need to wash your hands for at least
twenty seconds and use hand sanitizer when you can’t wash your hands. Many stores have limited cash use and you can
only use credit cards in these stores. You
should try not to go out more than you need to.
Covid is a terrible sickness and by following these suggestions you will
help to flatten the curve and end this sooner.
