Elevator

Alex and I made a machine out of K'nex.  It is kind of like an elevator.  You might be able to see the elevator but it is in the shadow so it might be hard to see.  It was pretty cool.  We got to put toys in it and then wind it up and the elevator slowly moved to the top.  When it finally got to the top, we made a walk way for the toys.  It was really fun and we had a great time.

I drew a "fun to draw" Ariel.    I love my drawing.  I think it's so cute.  Drawing is fun.

Daddy's coworker and his family came over for Thanksgiving.  It was so fun.  We played tag in the dark and ate turkey.  It was really fun.  

I am thankful for family, friends, food and shelter.

Science Experiment

I got an idea for an experiment from Chickadee.  It was fun except for the fact that I got alcohol in my eye when we did the experiment.  It was easy to do.  First of all we ripped up leaves and put them in a jar.  Then we poured in rubbing alcohol.  We let it sit in a bowl of warm water and then we taped a coffee filter onto a pencil and put it in and left it overnight.  When we checked it, the coffee filter had different colours on it and the leaves were darker.  It was really cool.  I learned that leaves need sun to stay green.  In the fall it gets colder and darker so the leaves lose their green and turn brown, orange, yellow and red.  They need the sun to get nutrients so they get brittle and fall.  

Water Works Oh Fun

We went on a field trip to Williams Lake.  We went into a water department and learned how water works.  There are a few things that's new.  I never knew that they can flush out pipes.  I thought it was cool that the guy had an app on his iPad that he can click on any place in the world and he can see if the pipes are clogged or anything.  My favourite part was seeing our fish.

We had some friends come over for a two night sleep over.  We played with our dolls and we had lot's of fun.

We went over to our piano teacher's parents house for lunch.  It was very fun.  My friend Juniper was there.  There was really great food.

Every day we go for a walk with our neighbours, Emily, Avery, Faith and Jayden.  We went down the road a ways, up the pipe line trail and then came around back to our house.

Fishy Field Trip

Today was fun.  We got to paint our own fish and they are going to put them on the fence where the old ones are because they are getting old and chipped.  Now our fish are going to be on the fence at Scout Island.  I painted my fish to look exactly like a real fish.

After fish are eggs, they actually get eyes on the eggs.  It's kind of gross.  Fish are so intelligent  because they swim back to the exact place where they were born and then lay their eggs and die.  They decompose and the babies use their bodies for food.

Kamloops Trip

We went to Kamloops and we went to a giant movie complex and saw "The Secret Life of Pets".

We went to one of my favourite restaurants of all time, The White Spot!  I got chicken dippers and fries.

Caileigh got a really cool, awesome make up set and I got a crown so it worked out perfectly to have makeovers.

Me, mommy and Caileigh walked to the park.  Daddy dropped us off at the skateboarding park and they drove to the park while we walked there.  It was really fun and we got to swim.

This is me at the beach that I was talking about before.  Isn't it so cool?  It is so pretty but it got deep really quickly and it was super cold.
